The History of Gorenz and Associates, Ltd.

Gorenz and Associates, Ltd. was begun in the 1950's by Leo Gorenz, Jr.. The firm quickly grew and today has four partners.  Mr. Gorenz passed away in April 2006, but his legacy of customer service and integrity live on.  The four active partners continue to strive for the excellence that has been the firm's trademark for years. All work performed by the firm is reviewed by a CPA other than the preparer to ensure accuracy and completeness. This applies to all tax returns as well as audit engagements. It is the firm's goal to provide the best possible service for a fair and competitive price.

The firms tax practice has grown dramatically over the years. Tax expertise has been developed in serving individuals and businesses. The firm serves a large number of agricultural clients including grain elevators, farm implement dealers, feed dealers, fertilizer dealers, and farmers. The firm provides audit and management advisory services to various types of businesses including automobile dealerships, manufacturers, contractors, and non-profit organizations.

An accounting firm is traditionally thought to have a "slow period" after tax season. Gorenz and Associates, Ltd. has used this "slow period" to provide various governmental entities with top quality audit and consulting services. Some of the entities served include cities, towns, villages, townships, school districts, and joint agreements.
